What You’ll Do
As our sector undergoes rapid transformation, sales excellence is fundamental to achieving our growth ambitions and we are seeking a Sales Manager who will play a pivotal role in generating net new business and accelerating revenue growth.
This is a full cycle, high impact sales role focused on new customer acquisition, strategic pipeline generation and execution through to close.
- New Business Generation: Proactively identify, target and develop net new opportunities in maritime ERP and fleet management.
- Pipeline Ownership: Build, manage and progress a robust and strategic pipeline, with accountability for opportunity creation at scale.
- Full Sales Cycle Management: Lead opportunities end to end – from outreach and discovery through to proposal, negotiation and close.
- Strategic Prospect Engagement: Secure access to Senior stakeholders and C-level decision makers to drive meaningful engagement and alignment.
- Commercial Negotiation: Lead commercial discussions for high value deals, ensuring credible positioning and alignment with customer needs.
- Market Intelligence: Gather competitive insights and identify emerging trends to shape commercial strategy and positioning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Product teams to target demand effectively and convert prospects into customers.
- Performance Delivery: Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, with accountability for pipeline generation, win rates and accurate forecasting.
You will extend our market reach by identifying high potential prospects, shaping opportunity strategies and leading high value commercial negotiations. Your contribution will be critical in securing new customers and positioning our solutions credibly within an increasingly competitive landscape.
How You’ll Influence and Contribute
While this role does not include direct people management responsibilities, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership through influence – acting as a role model and catalyst within the Sales team. You will support opportunity prioritisation, share best practice and elevate team performance through peer impact.
Over time, there may be scope to grow into broader leadership responsibilities depending on business needs and individual development.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven new business sales success in Enterprise Software Solutions and/or Maritime Technology
- Hunter mentality, with strong ability to initiate conversations, build pipeline and open new accounts
- Consultative selling capability, focused on uncovering customer needs and shaping solutions
- Commercial acumen with experience in complex, competitive sales cycles and value-led negotiations
- Confident engaging senior and C-Level stakeholders to build buy-in
- Market awareness of maritime digital transformation and customer operational challenges
- Pipeline discipline – data-driven approach to forecasting, prioritisation and performance management
- Collaborative mindset – independently driven while integrating across teams
- Emerging leadership capability, including peer support, knowledge sharing and positive influence, with aspiration to grow into people management responsibilities over time
