My key role is to set comprehensive goals for performance and growth and establish policies that ensure the efficient running of our business which aligns with our mission to serve our customers the best possible way. I am passionate about the shipping industry and have been for over 30 years and am always thinking about where we can make improvements to make our customers’ lives better. When not in the office, I'm very passionate about Ice Hockey and my kids have fortunately followed in my footsteps

John Wills

Chief Operating Officer

I am responsible for driving operational excellence and delivering sustainable growth across the business. I look after teams spanning Product, Professional Services, Customer Success, and general corporate operations, ensuring Shipnet consistently delivers value to some of the world’s leading shipping companies. I joined Shipnet six years ago after a career advising business, government and charities how to improve their performance and results using technology.

In my spare time at home, I enjoy making music with my ever-growing collection of synths and electronic music gadgets.

Jenny Duffy

Marketing Director

I’m responsible for getting Shipnet out into the world, to give it a voice in the market and position us as the best provider of maritime software solutions. I’ve worked in marketing for over 20 years in many different sectors, starting my career in advertising launching everything from nappies to vodka. For the last seven years, I’ve focussed on the tech industry. When it comes to marketing, I always look to add personality to tech and simplify the complex – which is regrettably harder than it sounds. I love the sea, spending time in it and as a movie enthusiast watching films about it. And if anyone says that Jaws is not the best film ever made, well…

Andrew Ward

Sales Director

At Shipnet I am responsible for ensuring our customers new and old are fully up to speed with the capabilities and services that we have to offer. Working with the global sales team to promote and grow our customer portfolio, my aim is to make sure that we are known as the go-to solution, providing the tools that empower our customers to empower their businesses. In my free time, I play and watch as many sports as possible time permitting!

People Director

As People Director at Shipnet, I’m focused on bringing our People Strategy to life – “enabling everyone to be included, engaged and effective so together we can keep the world afloat.” Since joining I’ve been working alongside our teams to help shape a culture where people feel supported, connected and empowered to do their best work. As a global and remote team, staying united as “One Shipnet” is key and it’s not just about what we do - it’s about how we do it and how we live our values every day in our work, relationships, and collaboration.

By Day, I’m a People Director - master of new initiatives, connector of brilliant humans and a champion for the culture we’re all building together. By night, I hang up my People cape and transform into my ultimate alter ego: chief chaos controller, snack supervisor, bedtime storyteller and ultimate cuddle champion to my two young children!

Kasi Viswanathan

Research and Development Director

I head up the product development and IT infrastructure management team. I lead product development, innovation, and quality of all products delivered by Shipnet, driving technology solutions that improve employee and customer experience. With 25 years’ experience (ten of which have been with Shipnet), I’ve worn various hats as a developer, product manager and delivery manager. Having setup greenfield IT units in India, I’ve developed unique team-building skills, possessing both start-up and corporate experiences to lead nimble teams while still understanding corporate intricacies. I’m an avid sports fan and have a real passion cricket – yes, the one played over five days with lunch and tea breaks!

Denis Debs

Professional Services Director

I’m responsible for the implementation of our solutions – from the moment an agreement is signed to the time it’s handed over to our support team. I’ve been with Shipnet since 2009 as a project manager and was responsible for all projects in Europe, Middle-East and North America between 2013 to 2018. I’m a football fan and love cheering on Arsenal, but my real passion is cooking for friends and family with a glass of Bordeaux in hand – it must be in my French blood.

Niall Jack

Director of Product Management

At Shipnet, I am responsible for all things Product Management. I spend lots of time in the market and understanding customer needs - and then working with the wider Shipnet team to build products and solutions that solve those problems. I have a real passion for innovation and technology, and like nothing more than solving a problem with an outside-the-box solution.

I also play the bagpipes and tin whistles, in Pipebands and in folk sessions all over Scotland.
